Voluntary Formation of Social Responsibility Culture by Students
- The Student Society for Social Responsibility is a student organization for volunteering activities that allows the SNU students to independently plan, practice and participate in social responsibility projects so that they can encourage a social responsibility culture.
- A new theme for social responsibility activities is selected for each semester, and four sub-projects are planned to practice specific activities accordingly.
Support for Planning and Practicing of Social Responsibility Projects by Students
- Supports are provided through cooperative institutions so that the students can develop the competence to independently promote all the procedures.
- Educational sessions by experts are provided to strengthen the capabilities of the members.
- Continuous supervision is provided about the theme throughout the semester.
Improvement of Leadership Skills and Community Spirit
- Since the students directly participate in the planning, they improve their leadership skills and develop creativity through the problem-solving process.
- The students improve their community spirit, as they analyze the problems of the local communities and conduct the relevant activities.
- About 770 students participated in the program between 2013 and 2020.
